File Guidelines

Inkjet Print Files

Color  For rich black printing mix 100k/40c/30m/20y.  For black type use only 100k.  Large format printers are not Pantone devices.  Color may be close, but not always exact.  (Provide color proof when possible).

PhotoShop  PhotoShop files work best.  Files work best 100% of size at 150dpi.  For best color results CMYK mixes are preferred.  No color profiles.

Illustrator  100% size for best results.  CMYK colors.  150 dpi Do not use gradations or shadows from Illustrator, they become "stepped", use PhotoShop for smooth shadows and gradations.  Convert all type to paths.  Save as .eps for rasterizing to PhotoShop.

InDesign  100% size for best results.  CMYK colors.  150 dpi.  Convert all type to paths.  Export as .eps for rasterizing to PhotoShop.

PDF  Press Hi-res PDF.  Rasterized into PhotoShop.  Save at 100% size.  CMYK or RGB.  Files are rasterized into PhotoShop and saved as .eps for printing.

Duratrans

100% size.  200 dpi.  RGB color.  PhotoShop jpeg file.  Black mix.  For best black printing mix 100k/100c/100m/100y.  For black type use only 100k.
