Historical perspective  In 1967, EGI was created around a huge planetary camera that provided precision reprographics for the federal government, automotive and aerospace industry.

This enormous camera was centered on a 72 inch custom built Goerz Apochromat Artar lens.  It was capable of holding either transmitted or reflective copy up to 5 by 14 feet.  Precision blow back capabilities of 5 by 8 feet were possible maintaining exacting standards.

Over the years as technology and markets have changed, EGI has evolved into Mid-Michigan's premier full service image provider.
